On Sunday 29th August 2021 it was my last service as the resident minister of the English Church in Benidorm.
I took the opportunity to lead the service playing my piano accordion as who knows if I will have another opportunity in the future. After the service we enjoyed a lovely 'bring and share' lunch together.
Most if not all of the congregation of thirty seven stayed to enjoy the fellowship. The congregation could not have done more to show their appreciation of both Christine and myself. I was so moved that I nearly decided to stay!! Just joking. My replacement has arrived praise God and I am slowly handing over all the responsibilities to him. Please pray for Trevor and Maggie Ramsey from Northern Ireland. I attach a photo of them taken last night at the Church. Thank you to all of you who have made my stay in Benidorm so memorable. Both Christine and I have so many precious friends scattered all across the UK, Europe and further afield who we have had the privilege of meeting in Benidorm. Please keep close to Jesus as the hour is late. Things will I am sure get more difficult in the days that lie ahead but remember Jesus is coming. He is the Lord and He has not lost control of His planet. Read the Bible, God's Word, study it hide it in your heart. Many will be deceived but YOU ought not to be deceived if you hide God's Word in your heart. Remember to pray and make sure that you have fellowship with fellow believers. Do not neglect the Breaking of Bread, the Communion service, Jesus told us to do it to remember Him! Well, we must say goodbye and God bless until we meet again in this life or maybe we will not meet again until we meet at Jesus feet.
